CAST IRON FOUNDRY

Our cast iron foundry, Botou Rongxin (C.F.I.) Casting Limited Company is located in Hebei, China. Its maximum annual capacity is 5000 tons. This includes warehouse spaces for machining, painting, and quality control testing. We also use this campus to expertly assemble iron castings with OEM hardware/components sourced from 14 associate manufacturers, each specializing in different raw material components.

With multiple casting areas and automation lines, the flexibility of our space allows us to handle both high and low volume production runs. We can work with lower MOQs, and spend the time to handle hard-to-produce items.

ENGINEERING & TOOLING

In-house engineering allows our foundry to help with development and troubleshooting.

Our engineers are experienced enough to not just see a casting – they learn its purpose. This is critical in situations with drainage or understanding how component parts will be assembled.

Once a design is ready for the next step, we work with the best tooling producer in our area to ensure your product will be produced correctly and efficiently. Our tooling costs are transparent, and we do not add any margins for tooling.

CERTIFICATIONS & SPECIFICATIONS

We understand that standards and regulations are different depending on the countries or provinces where products are headed. We will work with you to ensure your products meet all requirements. Our foundry carriers a baseline ISO 9001 certification, but we are highly familiar with the standards and testing required for castings or products to meet CE, EN, CSA and similar requirements, or to achieve test certificates like ASTM, DIN, IAPMO, or specific tests requested by regional municipalities.

The value of relationships

We started as a trading company and later built our own foundry. Having both avenues of expertise has expanded our capabilities as a manufacturer, but it would not be possible without relationships.

For 25+ years, we have been the primary manufacturing partner for Wade Drains, and supplied over 2000 products throughout USA, Canada, and the Middle East. While many of the line’s products are primarily cast iron, some components or parts require sourcing with our partners throughout China. This is possible thanks to strong relationships with our vendors who will often accept and prioritize our requests because of our decades of good business practices and personal relationship building. Relationships matter in business – and investments in relationships translate to a better experience.

NORTH AMERICAN REPRESENTATION

Communication breakdowns cause major headaches when working with a foreign foundry, and language barriers are a big reason that many customers need to go through a brokerage firm.

CFI Foundry HK LTD has a foundry representative based in the United States that can be reached easily for quick interaction and feedback. Having onshore, domestic representation helps reduce the time it takes to get answers. Our North American representative has provided our US and Canadian customers with same-day support for over a decade, including working with engineering and sourcing departments to successfully onboard hundreds of SKUs.
